HOW MUCH DOES A MURAL COST?
Pricing a mural mostly is determined by the square footage but there are also several other factors that help determine the final cost:
+Size

+Time
+Complexity

+Location
+Surface

+Design

+Equipment / Materials

1. SIZE
Size is the most obvious factor that goes into pricing a mural project.  This will allow us to estimate project time, equipment (boom lift, scissor life) and paint supplies.  The size (square feet) is how the mural is priced. Price per square foot may increase if design requested is complex.  This will be indicated in price quote and determined at the time that the final sketch is approved.

2. TIME

The length of time to complete the project  - is it going to take weeks or will it be months, this also helps when deciding the price.

2. COMPLEXITY
Are you looking to have a complex realistic mural or just an simple one color graphic mural painted. These ranges help us in our estimate process. Simply put, more detail equals more time, paint, and higher costs.

3. LOCATION
If the project is outside the Dayton/Cincinnati area, a travel surcharge will be included into the estimate to cover traveling expenses such as flights, hotel stay, gas, etc.

4. SURFACE
What is the surface that will be painted on? Concrete, Stucco, Brick, Drywall or Wood? Surfaces play a big part in the mural painting process, from wall prep, time to paint mural and what mediums will have the best results.  *Additional work due to adverse conditions on surface that requires extraneous labor will be charged extra, and sometimes cannot be determined until after the job has begun.

5. DESIGN
We can create custom graphics, brands, logos, designs, and one of a kind murals or you can choose to provide your own mural design, image, logo, landscape, portrait or art. There is a non-refundable sketch/design fee.

6. EQUIPMENT / MATERIALS

Equipment and materials are always to be provided/taken care of by the client. Painting at heights require boom/scissor lifts. Installation materials include paint, primer, clearcoat, brushes, rollers, tape, etc.
